Ice Climbing 201 Course Print E-mail

Ice Climbing 210 CourseThe ice climbing 201 Course is designed for climbers that have previous ice climbing experience or candidates that have just completed the ice climbing 101 Course (these two courses can be booked back to back for a discounted rate). In this course we will look at the more advanced topics of climbing steep, sustained ice, lead climbing and climbing multipitch routes. Over the three days we will climb harder routes than the ice climbing 101 Course an also complete multipitch climbs on days 2 and 3.

This is a fantastic course with lots of the best fat ice New Hampshire has to offer! The guides live at the cabin as well so in the evening after dinner we do short evening lectures and watch slide shows. Each day we video the participants climbing on the ice and in the evenings we watch the video so we can critique techniques and hopefully improve your climbing skills. Many clients find this very valuable.

“I started doing courses and private guiding with Fox Mountain Guides one year ago. I had never climbed anything outside in my life. Now, I lead multipitch ice, and I take my friends climbing too”

Recomendations

"How can I learn to climb? I asked all around Charlotte and I got the same answer from Jessie Browns, Inner Peaks and Great Outdoor Prov. Co. All three said to contact Fox Mountain Guides because they were the best out there. So with 3 Fox brochures in hand I called to schedule the Rock Climbing 101 Course. I then took the Single Pitch Lead Course and then the ‘Master Class’ in December from Adam himself. It's been the best money I've spent for climbing yet!"
