Fox Mountain Guides and Climbing School offers two pre-arranged expeditions per year, the first to Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and the second to Aconcagua in Argentina. Mount Kilimanjaro poses a technically moderate ascent, leaving climbers the challenge of learning to deal with climate, altitude, and a physically sustained climb. Kilimanjaro is a great first peak. Aconcagua is the tallest peak in the Americas; its summit pushes to over 22,000 feet, and the technical obstacles are more complicated. Aconcagua is a serious mountain for those climbers who are seeking a serious adventure. |
