Fox Mountain Guides and Climbing School

Fox Mountain Guides and Climbing School offers School rock climbing and Rappelling trips across the Southeast in North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Illinois, and Kentucky. We offer Climbing and rappelling trips year round in locations throughout the southeast and supply all the equipment and AMGA Certified Instructors. We can help you build an amazing single or multiday program to suite your needs. Over the years many School programs have used Fox Mountain Guides from single day outings for small groups of 8 through to the hugely successful JOE Program at the Lovett School with 150 climbers over four days each May.

We can also incorporate lessons into our programs to teach topics such as Geology and Physics out on the rock in an interactive, engaging and fun way. We find the students really get a great deal out of these programs in addition to the team work and trust building that are achieved with climbing. There are many positives for incorporating rock climbing and rappelling into your school programs!

• For every six climbers in the group a teacher/chaperone goes free of charge.
