Summer Camps

North Carolina Rock Climbing Summer Camps

Our North Carolina rock climbing summer camp is the only camp in the region run by an AMGA accredited climbing school. We staff our programs with the most experienced AMGA Certified Instructors in the Southeast who work for our company year round. Our camps are designed to give participants a full-emersion rock climbing experience. To that end, we have refined our programs over the years to have the perfect mix of instruction and climbing time on the rock every day, mixed in with some fun evening activities. Campers leave our camps as more confident climbers and have a sense of independence and accomplishment that frequently compels them to return year after year to refine their skills and enjoy climbing in the beautiful mountains that surround us.

Our camps are based in the Pisgah National Forest at the Linville Gorge and Looking Glass Rock area wilderness locations in North Carolina where we climb during the day then camp along a scenic river at campsites that have running water, hot showers, and restrooms.

Regular Camps, Ages 13-18

Our Regular Camps focus on the climber with little or no previous trad climbing experience. From kids who have climbed only on teams in gyms to those who have climbed outdoors but have only done sport climbing, we have campers who come from all over the country to  experience single and multi-pitch trad climbing in North Carolina. Campers learn all aspects of climbing and have a host of new adventures! These programs are small, personal camps where you will meet lifelong friends and climb amazing rock in a wonderful setting.

Cost: $1200
